(MCP · For designers & their AI)

Give your AI a good eye.

Most assistants have never really looked at a website. Connect UX Collective and yours can: search 37 hand-picked sites and 225 page sections, see the screenshots, and read the colours and fonts behind them.

Read-only · Invite-only for now

(How it works)

One address. Then just ask.

  1. 01

    Connect

Paste the server address you receive with your invite into your AI tool and log in once with your UX Collective account.

  2. 02

    Describe

Say what you are designing: a pricing page for a budget app, footers from Dutch sites, something playful and green.

  3. 03

    Get references

Your assistant answers with real sites and sections, links to the live pages and the palette and fonts behind them.

(What it can do)

Not just links. It can look.

Your assistant gets the same material you browse, so it can compare designs and explain why one works.

  • search_sites

    Search websites

Filter by audience, sector, style, colour or language, in your own words.

  • search_sections

    Search page sections

Find just the hero, pricing table or footer, from any site in the collection.

  • get_site

    Open a site

Palette, typefaces, tags and the curator's notes for one website.

  • view_image

    Look at the design

It sees the screenshots, so it can describe layout, hierarchy and tone.

Read-only

Your assistant can search and look. It cannot save, rate or change anything.

We switch access on per member while we learn how designers use it.

Good to know

Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI tools use other services. Connect once and your assistant can look things up in UX Collective by itself.

No. The connection is read-only: it can search and look, never save, edit or delete. You can disconnect at any time under Account, AI assistants.

Access is invite-only for now. Members can ask for it, and we switch it on per account.

Your assistant can search the full collection, including sites and sections that are locked for visitors without an account. Every result links back to the live site.

Better briefs start with better references.
